Cristina (BA Psych DipEd, M.Clin.Psych MAPS) is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with expertise in evidence-based assessment and treatment for Anxiety Disorders, Developmental Disorders and Schizophrenia Spectrum Illnesses in both adults and young people. Cristina also has a background in primary education with significant teaching experience in various school-based contexts. Cristina is currently completing PhD research at the University of Sydney investigating the efficacy of a novel social cognition training program for young people with early psychosis to improve functional outcome. Cristina is also interested in examining the therapeutic efficacy of the hormone oxytocin as an adjunct to psychosocial intervention. Cristina's broader research and clinical interests lie in the remediation of social cognitive deficits across schizophrenia and ASD populations.
